Midwest Fiber + Folk Art Fair

The Midwest Fiber and Folk Art Fair is just about here, so get ready for three days of workshops, demos, vendors, music, food and oodles of yarn and other fibery goodness! The show runs from this Friday through Sunday (16th – 18th), and is taking place at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Grayslake this year! The admission is $10 a day, but you can purchase a 3-day pass for $25. Biggie will be sharing a booth with talented painter, Sue Schneider — our booth number is #109, at cross aisle D… so stop by and say hi!

I signed up for Ravelry back in 2007, and didn’t really do much with it… it was just another social networking thing to keep up with. But I’ve decided to spend a little more time there and update it with Biggie yarns and such. For those of you who do not know what Ravelry is, it’s a “place for knitters, crocheters, designers, spinners, weavers and dyers to keep track of their yarn, tools, project and pattern information, and look to others for ideas and inspiration” (quote from their site).
